The Move To Heal SD Dance Collective uses movement-based art through dance to tell stories, empower healing, and inspire joy. Season 1 of the Dance Collective launched February 2022 and includes performing artists age 9 through adult in both a Youth Collective and Adult Collective.

Performances take place throughout the year in healthcare and community settings, with some open to the public and others taking place at organizational staff training days or conferences.

Movement Ambassadors

We collaborate with the Levitt at the Falls in Sioux Falls, S.D. to infuse Move To Heal performing artists and instructors into the free family friendly concerts that take place on 5 Fridays at 10am over the summer.

Move To Heal Movement Ambassadors are friendly, inviting and safe people to dance with or move alongside at each concert. We exist to add value to the concert experience and be a friendly face that children, youth and adults can come up to. You can find us at the front of the grass near the stage on the cement. Each Movement Ambassador wears a Move To Heal t-shirt to identify themselves.

Ways you could get involved include welcoming people to the dance floor or move/dance with those attending the concerts. Contact us to get connected with this opportunity.
